team - TTP

Since
its foundation in 1987, TTP has grown to become Europe’s
leading independent technology development and licensing
company. Our primary objective within the STI Alliance is to create new business based
on
advances
in
technology.
We
have been successful in the development and market
launch of many new products based on significant
advances in technology and also in the creation
of more than 1000 new employment opportunities.
TTP is not a consultancy, although we can work in this way if it is required.
We
are, in essence, hands-on implementers of new business
strategy with a strong focus on technology and product
development. We have our own extensive laboratory
and pre-production manufacturing facilities and we employ engineers, scientists
and business development specialists of the highest quality.
Core
areas of product development encompass the following
sectors:
 |
Medical
TTP had a significant involvement in the development
of the Dex blood glucose system for Bayer, from
generating fundamental instrument patents to developing
and supplying key elements of the QA system. |
 |
Communications
TTP developed the VHF radio modem
which is used for the transmission of road traffic
data over
Vodafone’s Paknet radio service. |
 |
Printing
TTP
has worked with Hewlett Packard over several
years to help our customers develop novel printing
products incorporating HP's thermal inkjet technology.
Many high-speed print applications now
embody our printhead driver electronics and image
processing software. |
 |
Micro
Device Technology
TTP's
proprietary electronic atomiser technology employs
a low-cost microdevice to generate precisely
controlled droplets from bulk liquids without the
use of propellants. |
 |
Optics & Vision
TTP’s advanced polymer
replication techniques are used to generate structures
with nanometre
features. These low cost, volume processes bring
nanotechnology to everyday products. |
 |
Consumer
The SF350 carbon monoxide sensor is an example
of TTP's capabilities to develop low cost yet sophisticated,
products for high volume markets. |
 |
Industrial
Uster® Fabriscan, a complex
image processing system jointly developed by
Zellweger Uster and
TTP, is
capable of real time cloth inspection at speeds
of up to 120m/minute. |
TTP
operates internationally. More than two thirds of
our business is for clients outside the UK and we
are particularly active in continental Europe,
the Far
East and the USA.
